BOREAL TWILIGHT — an Episode for Piano and Orchestra (CB-004)
Boreal Twilight is the second episode in Emmy-winning composer Kristopher Carter’s Seasons Suite for Piano and Orchestra. The tour through the Four Seasons was initially inspired by the isolation of the 2020 pandemic and chronicles our collective journey out of it. While the first episode, Autumn Ruminations, reflected the impending uncertainty of the pandemic lockdowns, Boreal Twilight paints a scene that while life may appear frozen and still on the outside, inside is an unquenchable desire to reach out and connect. In the spirit of the pandemic times, the piece was recorded remotely with the various musicians’ performances mixed together after the fact. The recording is available on all major digital and streaming outlets.

AUTUMN RUMINATIONS — an Episode for Piano and Orchestra (CB-002)
Autumn Ruminations is the first episode in Emmy-winning composer Kristopher Carter’s Seasons Suite for Piano and Orchestra. The tour through the Four Seasons was initially inspired by the isolation of the 2020 pandemic and chronicles our collective journey out of it. The first installment evokes the cool, crisp air of autumn as blustery winds send leaves cascading to the ground in a vivid tapestry of reds, golds and browns. As the notes float through the air you can almost feel the cold nipping at your nose as you pull your scarf up around your face. There is a swirl of color as the wind picks up the leaves and blows them in every direction, then they settle back to earth as we feel the slow, inevitable march toward winter. The recording is available on all major digital and streaming outlets.
